The bill emerged in the Ukrainian parliament’s official newspaper on April 5

Golos Ukrainy (’The Voice of Ukraine’, – 112 International), the official newspaper of the Ukrainian parliament, published the law about the ratification of Ukraine-Canada free trade area agreement. The respective message is also available at the parliament’s website.

The document was signed in July 2016, when Canadian Premier Justin Trudeau visited Ukraine. According to the bill, it should take effect on the first day of the second month since the Canadian side received a message that the necessary procedures in Ukraine were complete

.As the bill enters into force, Canada opens 98 percent of its market to Ukrainian exporters – for the goods that are subject to bilateral trade.
